Are you a student interested in learning about computers in detail? For those who have an interest in computers, IT Academy might just be the perfect class.
During this class, students will combine self-directed learning and some group learning to get the best of both. For the most part, students are on their own, on a computer learning from the microsoft IT Academy. The lesson plan starts with the basics of computers. Over time, the class becomes more advanced, delving into creating resumes and writing code. There is no homework, but there is a fair amount of group work. In this group work, you are given a computer model which you take apart and put back together while learning the various parts.
This class lasts one semester, but if you really like it you can extend it another semester.
