At Eagle Point, the Ashland boys picked up a close victory 75-69 while the girls coasted to a 83-56 win as the Grizzly Track and Field Team swept the Eagles in a duel meet.

For the boys junior Shashi Penn and senior Wyatt Thompson-Siporen led the way with a combined seven event wins. Penn picked up wins in the 100, 200 and the long jump while Thompson-Siporen continued his stellar season with wins in the 110 meter hurdles, shot put, discus and pole vault.

For the girls, junior Sydney Norvell won in the triple jump and pole vault, and the relays were swept by Ashland. Next up for the Grizzlies is the Crater Classic this Saturday.
