The Rogue News

Celeste Trivers, Writer

Celeste is an 18-year-old senior who is attending Ashland High School. She transferred from St. Mary’s Private School at the beginning of her sophomore year. As a result of the more advanced classes she took at St. Mary’s, she is able to graduate early this year in January. However, because she chose to graduate early, she must take additional online classes and 7 in person classes this Semester, a burden she is willing to bare. Celeste says her most difficult classes she is taking this year are AP Macroeconomics and Statistics.

Celeste’s favorite hobbies include producing music on her desktop and playing piano. After she graduates in January, she plans to travel abroad through a human rights program called Carpe Dien. She will spend 6-8 weeks in Cambodia in Thailand. At the end of my interview, I left celeste with a difficult question to answer. What do you want to leave behind at AHS? She responded, “I hope to create writing pieces in Rogue News that will inspire change at AHS.” Celeste hopes to write pieces on present dilemmas at AHS that need solutions. For example, The lack of student parking and security problems. Celeste hopes to pursue two different career options, be a major music producer, and being a innovative Journalist.
