The Rogue News

Daniela Purnot

Daniela Purnot is a sophomore at AHS this year. Originally from Brisbon, Australia, Daniela has been living in Ashland full-time for about a year now. Daniela enjoys reading, playing music, and spending time with her friends. Her musical talents include playing piano and guitar - she took piano lessons as a child, and taught herself to play guitar, working with a wide range of music genres. Her taste in books is a little more specific, with titles like “The Bell Jar” by Sylvia Plath and “Girl Interrupted” by Susanna Kaysen, both of which are psych-type, thoughtful works.

Daniela has a younger brother, as well as three stepsisters that live back in Australia. She notes the importance of friendships in her life, including spending time with them as one of the things she likes to do in her free time. Daniela hopes to learn some new things in Rogue News this year, and we can’t wait to see what she produces.
