Gry Julian, a 15 year old sophomore at Ashland High School is a high achieving student. She one genuinely enjoys school and the learning. However, school is not her only passion, nor is it her strongest. Julian is an avid chef. She plans on attending a culinary school once she is finished at Ashland High. She loves cooking noodle dishes; in particular, her favorite dish to prepare is Udon noodles. Although she loves the cooking and preparation, her favorite part is the plating the dish. This is her form of art, decorating and shaping the appearance, using the dish as her canvas and the food as her paint. Julian is relatively new to Ashland, having previously lived in Japan, Connecticut and Hawaii. She moved here a year ago, just one day before the start of her freshman year. She loves the town of Ashland as well as the AHS. She feels that the school is laid back and everyone is very open and outgoing. With her pleasant and upbeat demeanor, Julian only adds to this positive rendition of the high school’s student body. With her diverse view of the world, Julian brings valuable perspective to the Rogue News team, and a high energy spirit.
