Hayden Shepherd is a vibrant and talented sophomore at Ashland High School. At just 15, she has already established herself as a dedicated musician, having played the French horn for 5 years. Her passion for creativity continues to be apparent through her love for drawing. Finding inspiration in timeless Victorian pieces. Though her interests don’t stop there, as she also has a fondness for soccer and R&B music. 

Having moved to Ashland in 2018 with her two dogs, Yama and Chewy, and her lizards, Liz, and Freckles. Shepherd embraced her new surroundings with enthusiasm. Taking special interest in the opportunities that Portland couldn't offer. Leading her to develop an appreciation for close-knit communities and greenery. Her adventurous spirit often takes her on hikes, nature walks, and outdoor escapades, where she feels most connected to the world around her.  

What truly sets Hayden apart is her unwavering commitment to keeping herself open to any new interest that comes her way. She approaches life with a genuine sense of wonder, always ready to learn, grow, and embark on new experiences. With her creative spirit, welcoming heart, and supportive family behind her, Shepherd is poised to make a positive impact on the world.
