Kayden Gardner is a 17-year old senior at Ashland High School, where he plays #44 on the varsity football team as a linebacker. He originally went to Crater Highschool for his first three years and recently transferred to Ashland High for his final year. Kayden has lived in Central Point for the past 15 years with his half brother and 3 step siblings. Kayden says he chose to take this class, Rogue News, because it is a very easygoing environment in which he gets to talk and work with his friends. During the summer, he went to L.A. with his family where he enjoyed exploring many stores throughout downtown. In addition, he also took a trip to the Oregon Coast and spent lots of time at the beach. Kayden’s favorite time of the year is either summer or winter because there are many activities to do such as, going to the lake with friends or snowboarding at Mt. Ashland. After he graduates high school Kayden plans to attend a four-year college or trade school, however he’s not sure what he wants to major in.
