Piper is a junior at Ashland high, with a huge love for activism. She has been involved with all different kinds of dance for most of her life, nine years to be exact. Social and climate justice is very important to her, and she’s apart of a climate non-profit, as she says, “climate change isn’t very chill”. She moved to Ashland from rural California last year with her loving parents, cat and their prized possession, Rosie, a French bulldog. Moving was huge change, understandably as where she lived before and now are extreme opposites. She likes how accessible Ashland is, and how many more people there are, although not the snobby folks we all know are here.

She’s academically very hard working, and is content about the opportunities this school brings. She wants to go to college for Law, and a dream of hers is to go to Ireland for school, and Greece just for fun. Other things she likes to do is intricately decorate cakes. She describes herself as a passionate and persistent person. She always has something to chime in with, and definitely a ‘pleasure to have in class’
