Katy Barnard, a senior at Ashland High School, has been on the staff of the Rogue News for three years. She has held roles such as photo-editor, photographer, designer, writer and Editor-in-Chief. Joining the newspaper sparked her enthusiasm for journalism and design. Barnard will be attending Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo next year to study journalism. She has also run her own photography business for four years and plans to continue her study of the art. When she is not working on the paper, Barnard is found playing tennis, listening to music or enjoying time with friends.
