The Global Citizen Corps is a program whose goal is to aid and inspire youth in becoming strong leaders in building strong, productive, and efficient communities throughout the world. As a member, you learn about global poverty, ways to take action on issues across the globe and how to build an international movement towards change. Members at AHS have, in past years, hosted World AIDS Day events, food drives for the hungry and screened films educating about injustices in North Korea. The Global Citizen Corps’ key belief is that awareness and action can cause an impact of any degree anywhere in the world. GCC meets Wednesdays during lunch in H-36. The club’s adviser is Mrs. Hobein.
