Cash Cota, Editor
Cash Cota, a 18-year-old Senior at Ashland High School, has lived in Ashland all his life. His charismatic and humorous personality has amassed him many close friends during his years in the Ashland Education System. Many of which share his love for both football and soccer. Cota’s passion for soccer arose at the age of three. After he tried out for numerous different sports, he decided on soccer and has been playing on organized teams ever since. Cota got involved in football shortly after due to the constant exposure from multiple family members who played professionally. It wasn’t until eighth grade that Cota joined an official team during his time at Ashland Middle school and now at AHS. Before that point, he only ever competed recreationally.
With demanding extracurriculars comes strenuous training to stay in shape. According to Cota, soccer requires more endurance, footwork, and ball control training, whereas football requires more muscle strength. Such amounts of work don’t leave much room for free time to relax, but when it does, Cota likes to work on his Toyota Scion Fr-S. Cota has a great passion for his hobbies. As such, he wants to join rogue news this year to become a sports writer alongside several other sports enthusiasts.
