Hey there, students of AHS. I bet I know exactly what you want right now: an old book. No, you say? You’re not interested? Well, you should be. Not all of us enjoy reading old books, it’s true, but they have a variety of other uses. The pages of old books can be used to create jewelry, flowers, bookmarks, and just about anything else you can think up. And besides, who doesn’t love the smell of old books?
Are you sold yet? Fantastic, because there will be a used book sale in the AHS library on Tuesday, December 3rd, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. And the best part? The money from this sale will be used to purchase new books for the library, including some of your favorite titles.
Teacher and student volunteers are needed. Used book donations, especially fiction, are welcome.
