ASB Goodbye

Here we are after what has been nothing short of a crazy year. Although the 2021-22 school year hasn’t been traditional, it has certainly been a step in the direction of something resembling normal. We are deeply grateful that you all gave us the chance to step into a leadership role and be a part of this journey with you. Our inspiration to run for ASB Co-Presidents came from seeing students back on campus after more than a year away from our school. We heard your hopes, concerns, and most of all, your deep gratitude at the chance to be back learning in person. Messy as it was at some points, we’ll miss all the fun this year held. We’ll miss filming those announcements. We’ll miss attending AHS sporting events as both athletes and fans to support our school. We’ll miss celebrations like Prom and assemblies…but we sure won’t miss the bell schedule! Looking to the future, we’re very excited about all that’s to come for AHS. The return of such traditions as the Grizz Pageant and the Talent Show has set a precedent that is sure to last for years to come. We are sad to say goodbye, but trust that with you all, the school will remain in good hands. Thank you, AHS!
