On March 4, 2011, from five to eight in the evening, Ashland High School students will be participating in the First Friday Art Walk. For those not in the art loop, the Art Walk is the opening of monthly galleries all around downtown Ashland and the railroad district. Patrons stroll around the town listening to music, eating tasty treats and admiring local art.

Members of the community are all encouraged to go to the monthly art exhibits. “It would be great if we could get kids from the high school downtown and looking at art,” said Mark Schoenleber, the high school’s art teacher. He is also the man who coordinates the students from all different creative classes who participate in the event.

The upcoming Art Walk will be featuring the following AHS students, hope to see you there!
