Who watches the Academy Awards every year with their eyes glued to the TV? In some families, including my own, watching the Oscars is an annual tradition. We always try to see all the nominated movies, at least for the “best picture” category. This year the predictions go as followed:

Wouldn’t it be fun to see the difference between the communities winners compared to the Academy’s  winners of the 2013 Oscars? That is the plan.

For the next few weeks the goal is to get a review for each movie above, and as it gets closer to the Oscars we, the community and the people, will create our own winners!

Each week there will be a review on at least one of the films listed to be nominated for best picture. You, as the reader, are welcome to submit your own reviews and comments- did you agree or disagree? When it comes closer to the 85th Academy Awards we will vote on our own winners!
