5) Use Plastic Cups to Amplify iPhone Volume
Cut two large holes in the sides of plastic cups, large enough to put the cups on either end of a toilet paper roll. Lay the cups on their sides and cut a slit in the top of the roll. Put your phone into the slit and play your music. The cups will amplify it as well as any fancy speaker.

If you know you’re going to throw up, eat some vanilla ice cream. It won’t stop you from vomiting, but it will stop the burning sensation.

Soak sponges and freeze them. When you need an ice pack, put one in a ziplock bag. It won’t melt on you like an ice pack.

Turn a muffin pan upside down. Spray with cooking oil and tuck small corn tortillas in between the bumps. Bake at 375 for ten minutes.

¼ cup of flour
¼ cup of sugar
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of canola oil
3 tablespoons of water
mix all ingredients in a medium sized mug, microwave for 1 minute, 40 seconds, and serve with a scoop of ice cream on top.
11) Deep-Dish Cookie in a Mug
It’s kind of like stacking four chocolate chip cookies on top of each other. And eating them all. No sharing required.
1 tbsp unsalted butter
½ tbsp granulated sugar
½ tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp beaten egg (save the rest for more cookies)
tiny splash vanilla extract
2 ½ tbsp flour
⅛ tsp baking soda
tiny pinch salt
1 tbsp chocolate chips
mix all ingredients in a large mug and microwave for 30-40 seconds, let cool for at least 10 seconds.
12) Ramen in a Coffee Maker
If you don’t have access to a stove while living on campus, invest in a coffee maker for your room. Not only can you make coffee, but use it to boil water and have late night snacks like ramen or instant soup.
13) Quesadilla on an Iron
Again, not having a kitchen stove might seem like it limits snack options, but there are always creative options. Try cooking a quesadilla by ironing it. (Be cautious of what surfaces you use and be aware of fire safety at your school.)
14) Duct Tape Will Fix Anything
Duct tape itself is the ultimate life hack. Keep some handy.
