Letter From The Editors

Dearest readers and AHS school body,

We’ve had to navigate through a lot of challenging obstacles in order to maintain the digital version of our school’s newspaper, and we’re very proud of the results that have come from this year’s hard work. Our staff has put a lot of effort into researching and writing content that we hope you’ve loved.

Still, we’ve missed being in a physical classroom setting with our wonderful teacher, Ms. Hirsch, and we’re excited to be back bringing you the news. We wanted to show our appreciation of the class of 2021 by finally being able to publish a graduation edition! This year has been tough on everyone (especially the seniors), and we wanted to acknowledge the dedication and astounding work ethic of the students at AHS this year. Consider yourselves acknowledged; You guys are awesome sauce. We hope this edition gives you a satisfying conclusion to a somewhat disaster of a year as you read through this year’s updates, accomplishments, and some of the silly stuff as well.  We’re glad you checked out the paper and we hope to continue to foster a sense of community between all students here at AHS – and we would love for you to join our team! If you’re interested in enrolling in Rogue News for this coming school year, contact your counselor or Jamie Hirsh for more information. If you haven’t already, you should check out our first and final print edition, which is currently published and available in the AHS library.

Have a wonderful summer and congrats to everyone graduating and moving into the next steps of their lives!

Much love,

Rachel, Allie, Sophia, David, Tyler, Mirandah, Geno, Isa
